Taste Like Burning is a 4 piece rock band from Minnesota. Formed in 2001 By Tom Armstrong, Jason Tercero and Gambit Meeks. Taste Like Burning has played hundreds of shows since it was formed and released 2 records. "Your Move" is the band's first record. It was released in 2002. In 2004 Gambit left the band. Tom and Jason decided to carry on and in August 2005 Recorded "The Deal". The Deal was recorded at Logic studios by Brian Bart.
They were helped with some drums tracks by Ryan Mach. Tom played guitars, bass, drums, and also sings on the record while Jason plays bass, guitar, and sings on the record. Kim helped us with the backup vocals on the song Second hand friend. Tom and Jason recorded 17 songs for "The Deal" in 4 days.
The band now consists of Jason and Tom with the addition of Kim on bass and Troy on drums. Their goal is to achieve happiness from playing as many shows as possible and to continue to record, making the music better with each step. They are currently working on a follow-up to the deal which will be released sometime in 2008.
