Mess o’ Blues

About Me

Mess O' Blues is a rythym section with Scott Neaderhiser on Bass and Noa Braga on Drums. Noa was born in Minneapolis, but grew up mostly in South America. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in Boston, he decided to move back to Minneapolis. Scott and Noa met while playing with Brian Naughton, a St. Paul local area blues musician. Scott and Noa had such affinity for the blues that they decided to not limit themselves to the musicians they got to play with, but rather, invite the ones that they admired most on the scene, such as Truth on Hammond A100 and Vox and Don Douglas on guitar and Vox for some very "impromptu" recording sessions. None of the musicians really knew what was going to happen on these sessions, hence their "live" feel and vibe. The idea was to give club owners an idea of what they'd get if they got this particular rythym section and any area blues players together on any given night. In the absence of guitar players Noa will play guitar, as on "Shaky Ground", "No Job" and all guitars on "Dark Angel" minus the second (and very fast) lead guitar which is Don Douglas. Mess O' Blues has released two EP's, "All Blue" and "Truth" through Harder Productions. We hope to have many more great artists come record with us in the future. There will be new things brewing very soon. We'll keep you posted!noa14151

My Blog

A Basic Thing

It used to only happen once in a while. Now, it's happening most of the time. I know it's fun to go out and party and drink and dance. If there's a decent band making you dance, even better. I'm lucky...
