I am a native of New Orleans, now residing in Houston, Texas as result of Hurricane Katrina. I graduated from Warren Easton Fundamental Magnet School and attended Dillard University in New Orleans and Southern University at New Orleans. There, I studied as an Education Major specializing in mathematics with hopes of one day becoming an educator. I am the proud father of one son, Darius Alexander Cole whom I love and admire greatly. I am proud of the man that he has become.Once I stumbled on the phenomenal reality that music as a universal language that can reach people of different origins and bring them together no matter what race, ethnicity or nationality, I became determined to find a way to use music to reach the masses. I realized that that I have a gift for managing, negotiating and administrating. This has afforded me opportunities to work with a plethora of talented of artist. I was privileged to work with a group of friends and colleagues, Nu Beginning; a phenomenal soulful trio of singers (Melaney, Erica and Jabial). There sound is embodies a depth and richness characteristic of the gospel and R&B tradition.Fueled by my passion for gospel music, armed with the vision God has given me to help expose the awesome talents of New Orleans I founded Nu Generations Records ,Inc. The talent roster included: Jai Reed and Foundation Community Singer’s, Yessa and Cowana Santa Cruz. The release of I Can’t Repay and the Y2K solidified Nu-Generation Records’ position as a musical force to be reckoned with. In addition to serving as COO/ CFO of Nu Generations Records and executive producer of Jai Reed’s release Anointed for Purpose (Distributed through Malaco Record’s) I have also been blessed to have worked with gifted artist such as Lyle Henderson, Craig Adams, Marva Wright, Mary Griffin, and BG, just to name a few.My greatest accomplishment was realizing the call of God upon my life to minister to His people. I would like everyone who comes in contact with this page that if you don’t remember anything about me remember that God also has a purpose for your life. Know that you are designed for greatness.
