I am a sucker for any sort of 'reality' competitions: ANTM, Search for the next Pussycat Doll, Project Runway/Catwalk, Rockstar (Supernova and INXS), but I draw the line at the 'Idol' series. I also love Miami Ink and wish Garver would move to Toronto and be my love slave.
Books:
I'm a big Neil Gaiman fan, love Warren Ellis and his Transmetropolitan series, and have a soft spot for Terry Pratchett. I thought Susannah Clarke's novel Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell was an excellent read, and am looking for something similar I can lose myself in. I grew up on horror, Clive Barker being my favourite, and still love reading it, though I am in need of a good horror author recommendation (let me know!)Books on philosophy, poetry, psychology, globalization and cultural issues, biographies on artists, musicians, and people living cool lives, and anything else interesting I can get my hands on.Current or recent reads:
