Run by brothers Anthony & Joe D'Avanzo , their 15 years experience as musicians, engineers and producers is evident in all recordings that are created in the studio. The passion here is the music. It definitely shows through their commitment to provide quality recordings for all genre's of music from rock, metal , reggae, pop or traditional. Backroom Recording Studio has hosted artists such as Big Sugar, Kim Mitchell, The Trews, Supergarage, Sass Jordan, Juno nominated reggae artists Truths and Rights, and Canadian Idol winner Kalan Porter, to name a few.
Why is the Backroom unique? Clients love our environment because it feels like home; artists are free to use the space and experiment in whatever fashion they feel will enhance their art and their works of passion. The vibe is inviting, like living in your own loft space with a recording studio built in...no pressure, no restrictions, no overbearing suits to tell you how you should or shouldn't create YOUR music. The Backroom is a breeding ground for creativity, with welcoming facilities, a great spacious recording room, equipment, and a staff that cares. This Backroom combination is a winner everytime.
