The sound of End of Row is described as something of a sprinkle of indie and pop with a touch of jazz. The band is singer Dean Buckle, guitarist Kris Coulthard, bassist Andrew Myers and drummer Carl Griffin. Two years after forming and the band have amassed a very impressive catalogue of original songs including 'Changing Systems' and 'Relationship Problems & Showbiz', which have become the bands audience anthems. After features in The Journals Culture magazine, The Journal and the Northern Echo, End of Row's diverse talent is there to see by all.Their biggest achievement thus far has been winning the pretigeous TalentStar 2005 event, fighting off competition from around 2000 acts from across the North-East to be crowned the winners, playing a set at The Sage in Gateshead and more recently winning the JD Unsigned B.O.T.B heat in Newcastle. As a result of winning Talentstar the band were asked to write and compose a charity single for Metro Radios 'Just For Kids' charity which was released in 2006 by Genius Entertainment. End of Row recieved further exposure on Metro Radio due to this. The band could not have been more pleased with the result and are very proud to have been part of such a worthwile cause.Since forming as a band, End of Row have performed at many music venues across the North East including The Journal Tyne Theatre, The Sage Gateshead and The Cluny. They have amassed a large and loyal fanbase in their home city of Newcastle and are definitely a young band to watch out for.
