Reviews
"If you’re a fan of ambient, experimental rock music then Fall Short! Conform! Should be up on your list of bands to see. Their song “Lea†showcases them in full effect, featuring pounding, pulsating drums, a driving, deep bassline and epic, echoed guitars. Lyrically, the song seems to deal with losing your mind and as the singer’s voice bounces from side to side in your head (aided by a slight delay) the song gains an almost-schizophrenic echoing quality. While “Lea†is the standout track, the others on their space are no slouches either. “Remaining Sunlight†is an excellent, Editors-esque track with a beautiful fade to strings that signals the end of a glorious space-rock song. All in all, Fall Short! Conform! Are an impressive, mature and intelligent band who have three fantastic songs available for your aural pleasure. Listen. Go on! Conform!"
Paul Gibbons, NARC Magazine.
"From just listening to your first two tracks I can see that there is alot of thought put into you music, the build ups are to use such a word almost epic. The vocals are very well pronounced and keep in well with the type of music that is being portrayed, very much like biffy clyro, Brand New, Sounds of Animals Fighting."

"Fall Short! Conform! Is definitely a band that everyone should keep an eye on. They are one of the few bands that have a marvellous selection of vocals with an amazing array of crashing guitars, bass lines and thumping drums. The songs I have heard on their Myspace, Lea, Remaining Sunlight and Faith and Charity I have been extremely excited about. Lea would be the perfect song for a fan to truly understand what kind of band this is. As a fan, this song (Lea) reminds me a lot of Interpol. Lea definitely a stand out track. The vocals & lyrics are amazing, the guitar riffs, basslines and drums just scream Interpol to me. If anyone takes the time out to listen to these bands, you will understand where I am coming from. Bands like Fall Short! Conform are special because they are cut from a certain kind of cloth, they have the ability to create quick paced songs along with slow, atmospheric tracks, which when mixed together, create a truly mind blowing album or L.P. From the three songs I have heard, I have high hopes for this band and I will watching and listening extremely carefully, they are one of a few new bands I have heard that truly excites me."

Fall Short ! Conform ! for an ambient rock band they certainly pack a punch into there songs. Lea is the perfect example of this, the pounding bass and drums are a perfect mach for the angelic undertones and gentel vocals. An unusual yet incredible mix. "Remaining Sunlight" is captivating from start to finish, again the combination of instruments and vocals make this song bewitching. It almost like a good book, you can't put it down. Still, this song still contains the ambiant sound, yet consists a rock and roll flavour. Intreguing. "Faith and Charity" is a much more low beat track, the bass line and vocals are gripping. To those who listen will hear a truly calming atmosphere in this song.

"Fall Short! Conform! blend together a great mix or ambience and experimental music, with technical build ups and indie sounding melodie lines from the guitar and vocals. An inspiring sound"
