Tidal Suns

Bow down to the "All Meaty Cow-Bell of the Gods"

About Me

Tidal Suns formed essentially in march 2004. Tom and Terry having already establishing a musical relationship recruited Mark in Febuary and Tessie in early March to form the band. With their first gig in early April history was made to a crowd of about 40 people.
Many gigs later it was the Cork ROCKS showcase that really helped the band to find its performing feet and hone their skills as top of the range performers.
Recording their second e.p. (Last Tueasday, for sale in Plugged Records, Washington St. Cork) in Bpm Studios, Douglas (the first e.p. never really being released, entitled, Trap) showed the band just how much can be done and gave them all that little bit more determination to get out there and do it.
What do Tidal Suns sound like? Well, this is a trick question, with three song writers thier sound is diverse in the rock/pop genre. More rock than pop, moulding thier techniques from the sounds of giants such as Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin, Tool, Pearl Jam and Queens of The Stone Age and keeping the riff rolling from in a beatles esque style (although who doesn't claim to be influenced by the Beatles, short list than who does, thats for sure) and the expermental compositions in a Zeppelin/Muse format, theres bound to be a whole lot for everyone.
Keep em rocking, keep on lovin!
