DREW ASTRO

Born in Cyprus, April 3rd 1987 and brought up in Ayia Napa. Andrew Melas, also know as Drew is one of the most unique artists on the island of Cyprus. He is known for his skills on the microphone but he is also involved in music production. After graduating the Mediterranean private high school of Larnaca, Cyprus in 2005, Drew is now a freshman in New York College in Athens, Greece where he is currently studying for his business administration bachelors degree. At the age of sixteen, Drew developed his talent for music and started performing as a host mc in Europes legendary club, Black and White. Established in 1985, Black and White is home to most US and UK hip hop and rnb acts. Drew performed with various famous artists such as: The So Solid crew, Rampage, The Firin squad, the Surgery and many more. In 2004, Drew, Rac, Icy and Geo formed a group of their own, the D.R.i.G. The group is currently recording a album that consists of both English and Greek tracks. They are also perfoming in the legendary Black and White club. At this point, by combining the shows on the radio, the performances in the clubs, the knowledge for music both in the US and the UK and the unlimited talent and love for music, you will see that Drew has mastered his craft in the art of music and entertainment.
