Hey... i go by the name of Des im 19 years old...and im a singer/songwriter.
I enjoy singing r&b, however I am influenced by so many Artists and i listen to everything from r&B....to hip hop....to funky house to jazz.I discovered my singing voice when i was 5 years old and i sang with chicken shed in front of a big crowd..
I then went on to do ballet and character dancing and took up an instrument,(the piano), which i love playing and i am on grade 5.
In my early teens I started going to a theatre school called Future Faces, where i performed on stage in several shows including 'Chicago' and 'A midsummer night's dream.'When i was 16 i entered the competition 'UK unsigned' and made it through to the semi finals, which gave me inspiration to seek some more training and experience on stage. In September 2005 I started working with a producer and songwriter to help me develop my direction as an artist.Ive performed at many festivals from Reading to crimetoppers....in front of 50 000 people and it was absolutely amazing!
