I change my profile every now and then to keep you all up to date! So heres my profile for mid 2007! I delve into various areas of the industry, loving it all! I'm a songwriter who is passionate about writing songs - I love it, seriously! I am also a singer for fun and but right now moving in to the management side of things is my ultimate focus. I work on various projects with different artists all the time - I get alot of satisfaction out of pushing artists to the next level. I have been working in the industry full time now for nearly 5 years and have had great opportunities which I am very grateful for. An artist I worked with last year has just been signed to Def Jam in New York, under L.A Reid, her name is Pixie - go look at www.myspace.com/pixiesongs - shes very special at only 15! Have worked with some people from Pop Idol, in the past I've had some of my tracks played on BBC Radio, had my work championed by Daniel Bedingfield and have had some interest from Major labels - long story - as always! I also work for an Artist Development company in Central London called Major Music (www.majormusic.co.uk) where I work with talented singer/songwriters. I also run my own night called Acoustic-Show at The Betsey Trotwood (featured in Songlink International) which is a fantasitc intimate night with all genres of music - its a great place to showcase your stuff to industry as there is always a brilliant vibe. Songwriting, developing artists and pushing them to the next level is my love hence the fact that I am now eager to learn and gain experience at a management company.
