About Me

Try the BEST MySpace Editor and MySpace Backgrounds at MySpace Toolbox ! Since it's inception in September 2005, Voices of Triumph has grown both spiritually and musically. Under the direction of Rick Sylvester, Jr - transplanted to the Rio Grande Valley from Houston, TX - this choir sings a mix of contemporary gospel and praise and worship music. This group is truly an example that God will use anyone who is willing. Most of the 35+ members have never had any type of vocal training or previous singing experience - they were just willing worshipers who fervently love to praise the Lord. God has been faithful to the group, using them in an extraordinary way to minister to people, annointing their voices and their praises in a way that will make you take notice and give God your highest praise. Voices of Triumph is bringing a new sound to the RGV - a predominantly hispanic choir with an R&B feel.
