This Spring the streets of Beaumont are going to explode with music and movies as we launch of the first ever Boomtown Film and Music Festival. Musicians and filmmakers will converge upon Southeast Texas to hear cutting-edge musical acts, see fiercely independent films, learn firsthand from industry insiders, and cap off each day with nightly parties.Taking place at various downtown venues over the weekend of May 17, 2008, the Boomtown Film and Music Festival will be an event unlike any that Southeast Texas has ever seen.
