Better Beats For The People

About Me

I grewup playing the drums from a very young age and knew that beats were in my blood.
Whether it was David Garibaldi funking out with Tower of Power, Afrika Bambaataa spacing out on "Planet Rock", Zakkhir Hussein destroying the tablas or LONS doing the "Transformers" it all made sense to me.
As I got older, Wu-Tang's "Enter The 36 Chambers" was released and I knew right then and there that this was something I needed to get working on. The RZA beats were the ultimate mix of everything I had been influenced by up to that point. Jazz, world music and straight up drums.
I now spend my time producing beats, playing the drums and DJing in NYC.
My band, Turnstylz, (myspace.com/turnstylzz) is currently playing gigs in the tri-state and New England area. We'll be backing up Styles P on the road in early 2008, come and check us out!!!
