Arts Of Erebus is a band playing emotonional gothic-rock music in a modern sound. The
band is located at the french border region to Germany, and the members come from
both countries France and Germany.

- ARTS OF EREBUS - 'Icon in Eyes' available
German-french gothicrock-band ARTS OF EREBUS presents their second album 'Icon in Eyes', available mid of april 2007. The music by AoE developed to a more rock-influenced style with more power and beats, but still being a perfect frame for the emotional vocals of singer Damien. In the song 'Zeit und Traum', which is the only german-language song amongst the english lyrics on this album, you can also hear the voice of Rosendorn (ADVERSUS) as a guest-vocalist.
We released a free download single "Thousand Ways to Die"!
The single contains the title song "Thousand Ways to Die", which is also a first impression of our soon to come second album, and a new 2006 version of our former club-hit "Children of the Night" (from our debut album). These two songs are now featured in the Flash-Player above. There is also a brandnew video here in the VIDEO-section, showing our live-performance of "Thousand Ways to Die" at the Batschkapp club (Frankfurt/Germany) on October 26th 2006, when we opened up for The Crüxshadows.

The recording sessions for our upcoming second album "Icon In Eyes" are finished so far, we are working on the mixes now. Album release is planned to be in early january 2007 on the german underground label Sonorium (www.sonorium.de, or see the friend link below).
Our debut album "Negative White" has been released 2003 (also on Sonorium). It gained much positive response in the international gothic
scene, especially in Germany and France, where our song "Children of the Night" turned to be a hit in clubs with a true gothic audience.
The music of Arts of Erebus is composed by guitar-player Michel Meneguzzi, and is getting enriched
with the melody lines by lead singer Damien Grey. The complete thickness of our sound
is added by Regis (metal guitar), Stephane (keys) and Tommy (bass).
Lots of elements out of the independent scene have been giving strong impulses to the
sound of Arts of Erebus. We are influenced by Electronic, New Wave, Dark Metal and of
course the classical guitar Gothic Rock. Arts of Erebus use modern synthesizer sounds
as a matter of course in the same way like the traditional Gothic guitars and bass.
