About Me

“The philosophers have only interpreted the world in various ways; the point, however, is to change it.”
Revolutionaries work to change it. This requires not just participating in today’s progressive movements, but also studying them; and studying history and revolutionary theory: “Without a revolutionary theory there cannot be a revolutionary movement.”
But for the mass movements to develop in such a way as to bring lasting change requires a consistent fight against opportunist misleaders and their theories. “The fight against imperialism is a sham and humbug unless it is inseparably bound up with the fight against opportunism.”
So I think that proletarian revolution is the historical necessity, and that struggle along the above paths will let us do most to bring it about. “Necessity is blind until it becomes conscious. Freedom is the consciousness of necessity.” Further, I support and sometimes contribute to the literature that appears at http://communistvoice.org and http://www.seattleaic.org I encourage you to read them often!

My Interests

Revolutionary politics; Marxist theory; political analysis from any trend; history; early human societies.

I'd like to meet:

People determined to change the world! Revolutionaries. Anti-revisionist Marxists.

Music:

Many, many kinds. But, really, I wonder how important this is in the overall scheme of life.

Heroes:

All those who stand up to fight against exploitation and oppression.
The small yet growing section of young people who study and strive apply the revolutionary theory of Marx.
