you've probably never heard of this song. it's by a band called the shins and the name of the song is "new slang." this song will literally change your life. natalie portman's character told zach braff's character in 'garden state.' when i heard that, i thought the characters in 'garden state' were kidding, but the characters in 'garden state' weren't. the characters in 'garden state' knew. i will continue to update my myspace page with other songs that are guaranteed to change your life. for now, this is the only one (unfortunately, the characters in 'garden state' made no other declarative statements about life-changing songs). stay tuned. and enjoy the changes that are about to take place in your life.
