But, all of this is mostly present in my voice and my lyrics. For the music, these lists are mostly lies when it comes to composition. My method brings me ideas and I select the ones I prefer.
Sounds Like:
I don’t think it is worth doing music if it sounds too much like something else. I believe anybody on this earth can make music unlike any other. The following idea by Gould is close to my philosophy as a composer, but virtuosity is not important to me :
« L’idée que l’on parle de fraude à propos d’une exécution idéale qui a été montée par des moyens mécaniques me hérisse. Si on aboutit à une exécution idéale par le biais d’un maximum d’illusion et de manipulations, chapeau à qui en sont les artisans.
