We had great success with our first two concerts for contemporary music and media!
The first night played the free trombonist PAUL HUBWEBER with EZRAMO and BÃœCHLER, accompanied by visuals by LIEBIDOW. Followed by the amazingly ingeneered soundscapes of austrian Artist PETER PLESSAS and dark electro gothic by WIRACKI (Warsaw) featuring the abstract, organic graphics of visual artist MOWBLIND.
At the 15th of MARCH -
a VERY special guest appeared on stage together with the Noisepoets of EZRAMO & BÃœCHLER DUO. The well-known californian percussionist GINO ROBAIR honoured Ludwigsburg!
His music covers a wide range from post-soul groove to abstract analogue syntheziser compositions.
After an amusing performative solopiece for advanced percussion, Robair/Ezramo/Büchler showed an intense improvisation-show for Percussion, Voice, Guitar and Laptop .
12th of APRIL -
brought the italian duo POLVERE, a project of formerly AFTERHOURS-guitarist XABIER IRIONDO and MATTIA COLETTI. They performed their dusty and deconstructed blues recently on a Japan Tour.
The same evening the german guitarist THOMAS MAOS created his looped, modified guitarwalls.
On the 17th of MAY -
The !S.A.D!, an italian audiovisual artist, who has showed his pulsing mix of hardcore, postdub, fuzzy bass and abstract noize already at the "Biennale di Venezia", will play during his europe tour in berlin, budapest, paris, milano, birmingham, glasgow and ....ludwigsburg!
Jörg Koch (Laptop), curator of ELEKTROMINIBARKLINGELTON series for contemporary music and Mark Lorenz Kysela (Saxophone), who organizes the MÜLLMUZIK at Theater Rampe in Stuttgart will perform with Barbara Kysela on virtuose harp and objects a dense mix between glitch sound and ambient.
21st JUNE -
is reserved for composer, improviser and organizer of Stuttgarts "Plattform for Free Music" OLIVER PRECHTL. An academic mind in a punk soul opera for Voice, Fender Rhodes, Kaoss Pad and Laptop.
Along with him, the german group AUSWEIS (ULRIKE HELMHOLZ, RALF MEINZ, PIT SCHMIDT) will perform their surrealistic soundscapes with strangely possessed voices and sounds which emerge from trance and dream states.
Texts by Hölderlin, Brecht, Kerouac, Rimbaud and Baudelaire meet saxophone, electronic percussion and computer.
The three unique musiscians have performed with Otomo Yoshihide, Lou Reed, Zeitkratzer, Faust,... .
Along with AUSWEIS will play as special guest HILARY JEFFERY from Amsterdam his modified trombone waves. A well known artist in the experimental electronic scene, he co-operated already with Jimi Tenor, Patrick Pulsinger and many others!
„Max.Experimentell“ is a non profit event, which takes place every third saturday of the month in Ludwigsburg, a town near Stuttgart in the south of Germany.
