Dance You Monster To My Soft Song

About Me

On my worst days I can out crazy Daniel Johnston. I've fallen into depressions so deep I'd sleep for twenty-two hours a day for weeks straight, and I have such severe Tourette's Syndrome that a number of doctors thought it was Epilepsy. Our living room could double as a psychiatric hospitals dispensary.
We're currently working on recording a second side to our first album. The idea for the new songs was originally to be based on broken translations of English phrases, either found in books (like River Town), or seen on t-shirts in foreign subway stations. They evolved, and will hopefully be posted in changing forms soon.

Drums and bass

We finished tracking, and are a good ways into mixing things. I woke up to some of Tim Luntzel's playing almost every day without realizing it for the longest time. He played on a lot of Bright Ey...

A petition to set up a "Do Not Mail" list

The idea is pretty much just like the Do Not Call list, but for junk mail. Recycling paper is still very energy intensive, it's far better for the environment to snip junk mail in the bud. I read so...

A little piece of nonfiction (for Pennsylvania Democrats)

Our second home is the dog park, but this isn't really about dogs. We love them (dogs), and we spend a couple evenings a week cooing over puppies, and trying to catch the action with our cellphone ca...

Should you find yourself thinking about oinking like a pig

Its like a Rube Goldberg contraption for Democratic Senators

This is for those of you who also lean to the left. Regardless of how this business with the Super Delegates plays out, Barack or Hillary will be able to do much more with a stronger Democratic major...

My dream is for Andre Rieu to join the Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Imagine the fund-raising possibilities for PBS. I can’t wait for the pledge drive to be over.
