DAVE CARPENTER / THE JAEGLERS

Dave Carpenter & the Jaeglers is Toledo's newest good time jammin band. The Jaeglers sound is soulful, alternative, folk rock gone wild.The Jaeglers were formed when acoustic singer songwriter Dave Carpenter got together with long time friend and bass player Tom Jackson who played w/Carpenter in the band Driftwood Whale.Tom would come to Dave's acoustic shows and play drums ala the White Stripes. Another friend, Brian Lewis joined Dave on percussion. A short while later Scot Ulmer came on as the bands full time drummer and Jackson moved back to his true love (the bass). One week before the bands first show and after having a few beers with friend Sean McMahon the Jaeglers had a lead guitarist, that conversation went like this Sean "I can be the Jaeglers guitarist" Dave"cool practice is Wed." The first show at The Bronze Boar was a smash and the Jaeglers have been jammin ever since. Percussionist Brian Lewis has taken a job in Miami FLA. and the band wishes him the best. So thats the story of the Jaeglers started Oct.22nd 2006. And you may be asking yourself "what is a Jaegler?" and that's exactly what I said the first time I heard it, but that my friends is another story for another time.see you at the shows! The Jaegler.
