I use Cubase SX 3 to sequence nearly all of the music I produce. I build model synthesisers using Native Instruments Reaktor 5; this allows me to create Instruments and Effects Patches and Use them as VST Instruments on channels in Cubase, or FX as Inserts through the mixer. I have created a range of drum machines using Reaktor Software called the MtSz Series, which have note length adjustment facilities for 'on the fly' note manipulation and onboard FX per drum channel as trademark features.

I have also created a granular synthesiser which specialises in pads and atmospheric patches. Granular Synthesis is a method of sampling using very short microsamples of audio (15-50/60 Ms) these are called grains and are usually layered, creating a cloud of sound, resembling atmosphere.
