I am here for Friends

About Me

Check out my friend/brother Dave's blog dedicated to his upcoming solo trip around the world! In advance, he's writing about the planning and saving process, his burgeoning travel writing skills, and other travel-related current events. Once underway, he'll be posting stories and photos from the glaciers of New Zealand to the Amazon jungles of Brazil.
Go Backpacking
I am Spider-Man Spider-Man 90% Superman 70% Hulk 70% The Flash 55% Green Lantern 55% Robin 52% Catwoman 50% Iron Man 50% Batman 45% Supergirl 40% Wonder Woman 15% You are intelligent, witty,
a bit geeky and have great
power and responsibility.

I knew it! Batman. I'm all about Batman. I AM Batman. Except... I guess I'm not. It's the redhead thing... I just dig 'em, dammit...tr Modern, Cool Nerd
56 % Nerd, 56% Geek, 26% Dork
For The Record:
A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.
You scored better than half in Nerd and Geek, earning you the title of: Modern, Cool Nerd.
Nerds didn't use to be cool, but in the 90's that all changed. It used to be that, if you were a computer expert, you had to wear plaid or a pocket protector or suspenders or something that announced to the world that you couldn't quite fit in. Not anymore. Now, the intelligent and geeky have eked out for themselves a modicum of respect at the very least, and "geek is chic." The Modern, Cool Nerd is intelligent, knowledgable and always the person to call in a crisis (needing computer advice/an arcane bit of trivia knowledge). They are the one you want as your lifeline in Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (or the one up there, winning the million bucks)!
Congratulations!
Also, you might want to check out some of my other tests if you're interested in any of the following:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Heh, I knew I shoulda applied back when that show was big.

My Interests

Sundance, or as I like to say, Snowboard-Bender-Can't-Dance-But-Does-Anyway. Guess I can toss 'em here:
Granted, I'm not a pretty drunk.
But I can be devious.
For a time.
Provided I don't collapse.
Ironically, this was the start of the night.
I can be predatory.
But mostly I just space-out.
Bland panarama.
Enablers.
Green Fairies my eye, like mint terpentine

I'd like to meet:

Meet? Why would I wanna meet any of your freaks? Stay the hell off my lawn!

adopt your own virtual pet!

Music:

Notice how NO ONE's face is visible, that's talent, that is.
The Band's back together.
Failed save against kitten.

Movies:

No. If I start this section I'll go on forever. Let's just say I like a lot of different kinda stuff.

Television:

Battlestar Galactica, Farscape, Buffy, Lost, Heroes, Supernatural, Angel, Deadwood, Nip/Tuck, Cupid, Seinfeld, Family Guy, Mr Show, History Channel, Connections w/James Burke.

Books:

Anything by: Robert A. Heinlein, Gene Wolfe, Chuck Palahnuik, Issac Assimov, H. P. Lovecraft, Ernest Hemingway, Kurt Vonnegut, Joseph Heller, Homer, Neil Gaiman, William Gibson, WEB Griffin, etc.

Selections from: Stephen King, Tom Clancy, Harry Turtledove, William Shakespeare, Dante Alighieri, Virgil

Other Names I Like to Drop: Socrates, Aristophanes, John Milton, Sun Tzu, Charles Darwin (belive it or not, I actually read Origin of the Species, *yawn*)

Heroes:

Let's skip the fictional ones. My Dad. My Mom. Chris and Dan. Steve, but not for the reasons that you'd think. Lincoln and Ghandi, Spielberg and Fincher. Wait a sec, I get it. This is a trick entry. You're just trying to make me look like a tool.

Which you did quite well. Touche.
