As Fall Leaves Illustration

Actor, Author, Illustrator. Currently working on multiple film projects, including Morrow Road with Ellen Sandweiss. I recently published my new book Adoration for the Dead: Tales of Insanity and Terror. I'm a guest at some upcoming horror conventions so keep in touch for dates and locations. I'm writing a screenplay for a movie titled 'Open Casket' which I am also creating a graphic novel for. I also do album covers and merch for bands, most recently The Scooterz' new album: Robot Nation. If you'd like to know what I'm currently working on, just ask! I'll probably send you pictures!

Check me out at www.asfallleaves.com!I am Joshua Werner. I grew up in Memphis, MI; a small farming town full of stifling dullness. The most exciting things happening in that town consisted of cows getting on the football field again and another idiot driving his tractor to school. Art was hard to come by in Memphis, and I started receiving private painting lessons at a studio in Port Huron as well as a vocational school for a certificate as a manual draftsman. Upon graduating, I attended the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI. I found a sort of emotional home in the remnants of Detroit’s former prestige. The ghettos and abandoned buildings inspired me to write, and soon after publish, the book The Brutality of Fact. I now live in Lancaster, PA and I am finishing my illustration degree at the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design. I enjoy doing storyboards for films, as well as illustrating for comic books and graphic novels. I’d like to write novels and short fiction for publishing companies, and do album covers for bands. I’d like to work for anyone offering the opportunity for me to express my love for dark, emotional illustration.I’m influenced by a great variety of intense, emotional music, especially Swedish and Finnish Gothenburg. I’m also heavily influenced by a variety of Horror films and writers such as H.P. Lovecraft. Existentialist writers like Jean Paul Sartre give me the feeling I try to portray in many of my figurative works and portraiture. I have a great fondness for anything macabre.Studio Policies: I generally do not take large jobs without a signed agreement. I do not except work-for-hire terms, (this is in regards to contract clauses about copyrights). I do not except all-rights terms or "buyouts".
