Cleverly Disguised as a Responsible Adult

About Me

According to various quizes, BlogThings and personality tests I am black lace panties, the movie Being John Malkovich, light beer, Chinese food, chocolate chip cookies, crulean blue, apple red and grass green, the song Everybody Have Fun Tonight by Wang Chung, British, the reindeer Vixen, 17% Capircorn and 83% Libra, a pickle, more yin than yang, a blueberry martini and a mini van (just preferably not a gold one).
I hate it when my family moves the stool I keep in the kitchen so I can reach the 2nd shelf of the cabinets, people who stifle themselves, that my friends are too damn far away, passive-aggressiveness when its not me its coming from.
I love just about any kind of live music, my friends even though they're too damn far away, time alone, Chinese food, giving unexpected gifts, typing poorly and not even pretending to care about it, and reality TV (ummm, what do you mean its not "real"?).
I believe in reincarnation, personal responsibility, that your family does not always share your DNA, that loving Pulitzer Prize winning novels and trashy celebrity magazines are not mutually exclusive, and that we could always be happier, but seldom would allow ourselves to be.
I love this song. Freaking LOVE it.

See the Light

What? Chinca Cat Sunflower means NOTHING to you? hmmmm, I'm not sure we can be friends in that case.

Nashville was a blast, though the weather in Feburary (or is it Feburary? and do I care?) leaves a bit to be desired, the company was excellent! I love my friends. LOVE THEM.
I also love me some Thomas Lee. Dude is seriously funny (read his blogs), and a seriously talented musician. The Downtown Moneywasters CD is one of the best I've ever heard. Think Black Crowes, Zeppelin and all good music from the 90s, only better. And his acoustic stuff? Haunting.

Another of my favorite songs

Music:

I'm pretty diverse in what I like, but I'm especially fond of alt-country/Americana/roots music/Southern Rock/etc - really, it doesn't matter to me what you call it.

If it's got a little rock, a little country and some soul,
I'm IN.
