About Me

Hey, it's me Susan.

Many hats. Writer. Editor. Publicist. Mom. Wife. Singer in a band called Coin Operated(check out our myspace!) .
I review rock-based indie and band demos and songs currently on my music blog .
I ran Fret Less Music in NYC from 1996-2001 and then relocated to Orlando and became ExMogul Music. I worked with lots of great bands, produced 2 CDs and co-managed a label act back in the day. Now I don't. But I do like finding new music, and creating new music. And my jaded ears are always looking for something new and exciting. So bring it on!

RIP Hilly Kristal

I played CBGBs several times in the 1990s. It was my favorite club to play. It was not the cleanest or the biggest but it had a vibe. You just can't explain a vibe. It's probably hard to explain it un...

Deep Purple at House of Blues

Why I Love Orlando, FL

We moved to Orlando in 2003 because we wanted to leave NYC and Orlando seemed like a good place to go. I felt at home right away. But what I love about Orlando has nothing to do with theme parks and...

JJ Grey & MOFRO

I think I discovered MOFRO by accident. If I remember right, I was listening to Pandora and "Lochloosa" started playing. I loved it, and did some digging and found MOFRO's site and then their myspace ...
