Who are The Downtown Moneywasters?
If you're looking for a band with screaming, indiscernible vocals, with guitarists and bassists that jump up and down at every downbeat, or a band that tries to look tougher than the Hell's Angels, forget it. Unless the names Stillwater Junction, Mobius Band, or Taylor Street ring any bells, then where The Downtown Moneywasters come from is irrelevant to who and where they are now.

If you need more information, consider this: The Downtown Moneywasters is the brainchild of Thomas Lee. This guy’s been around. He’s wrecked his throat on a number of stages, he’s been a session player, a keyboardist for countless bands, a guitarist for yet another band, has laid down bass lines at his local church… all before his eighth birthday. If that doesn’t satisfy your curiosity, then there’s only one other thing to do…

If you still need more spelled out for you, then chew on this. What sets The Downtown Moneywasters music is that it brings rock and roll back to form. And what you get is a sound that reaches back to the beginnings of rock and roll: gritty, dirty, stanky, sweaty, and in all other ways like taking a bite of some deep fried bluescountrisoulyfunkified chicken. Now, that may seem like a huge undertaking for some, but if you're on for good grooves, good vibes, and good times, then you know where to start...
