About Me

Flipside is a Danish/Swedish duo who plays ultrachilled cinematic music. Their unique blend of Scandinavian melancholy and baleric chill out makes them sound like nothing else the sound is pure deluxe - heavenly, smooth and thrillingly crisp. With their trademark sound of acoustic guitars, trumpet, cello and vocals combined with electronic beats, sounds and smooth vibes has Flipside already established themselves in the Premier league of chill out.
Flipside released their first album "inside" in 2003 - the second album "deep" in 2004 and the third album "presence" will be released at the end of April.

Band Members: Flipside consist of Klaus Bau and Sebastian lilja.
Klaus was born in 1964 in the little village Skalkendrup in Denmark. He was one of 3 producers behind the Danish ambient/chill-out project Bliss and he has also released electronic/lounge/drumnbass as part of the duo Silverbeam + worked as producer and songwriter on a lot of albums during his year in the music business.
Sebastian Lilja was born in malmo, in the south of Sweden 1976. His musical journey started as a five-year-old, playing the violin, which later on led him over to guitar. He studied at the Music college in Helsingborg and after that at Music Academy in Malmo, where a fusion of classical, jazz and rock was taught. Sebastian has since worked as a fulltime musician/producer and songwriter.
