About Me

Marko Schlieder was born at 03.02.1976
in Leipzig (Saxony/ Germany).
He is the creator of the name "Chilled Forces".
With a special tendency to deep atmospheres, dark soundscapes, breakbeats, hypnotic EFX and the sound of the ledgendary TB303, he like to discover his own psychedelic world of electronic music

Influenced by the Acid/ Trance period in the early 90th Marko started making music in the year 1993.
He started producing by using tracker-software on a amiga500. Then he realised the possibilities of Wavetable sound cards (SB AWE32) and sequencing, after that (in the year 1995) he achieved his first digital synth with MIDI and the Software Cubase for sequencing.
From this day on, he aquired knowledge by studying of specialized literature about MIDI, recording and sequencing and spent every free time and money to discover new soundscapes or to buy new synthesizers.
A dream come true for him... in the year 1998 he proudly owned a Roland TB303, after he had tried out different clones of that incredible synth. So his music should become the last realy missing part of sound he want to integrate.
Today he is producing his tracks by combining parts of his hardware equipment with the Virtual Studio Technology environment of Cubase.
