Salta / Mortale is the result of fusing the musical energy, skills, and creativity of two people with very different musical backgrounds.

A '99 bass graduate of The Royal Danish Conservatory, Mortale is an equally experienced musician/producer. Since then, a lot of musical ground has been covered, yet Mortale still maintains a profound relationship with genres such as funk, jazz, and soulful house.
As for the work process, Salta is the one to make expert tweaks to the rhythm and discover new sounds and atmospheres, whereas Mortale is the master of chord progression, and brings general musicianship to the plate. And in this case, that's a match made in heaven - and so it sounds...
The sound of Salta / Mortale is, for the lack of a better word, complete. Everything, from top to bottom, left to right, just works.. It's like a beautiful designer chair that actually allows you to sit and feel good at the same time - while your thoughts wander off to far away shores, in a funky sort of way...
