It's no wonder that he is one of the most sought after guitar players in the New River Valley. Dave began playing guitar at the age of 16. His "formal" education includes classical guitar at Roanoke College and Radford University music departments, in which he concentrated on theory and voice training. He has since moved on to work on jazz/improv compositions. He has taught in various music stores, and now teaches privately to select students. Public experience includes: Clubs, banquets, weddings, parties, concert halls, outdoor stadiums, and civic centers. His range of musical styles includes: Country, classical, southern/rock, jazz, new age, progressive, Motown and funk. Having played most of the east coast, St Louis, and as far west as Hawaii, he has amble road experience, as well as filling in on bass, keyboard, and backing vocals when needed. Dave's willingness and ability to play many different styles of music is contributed to his wide variety of influences ranging from Ennio Morricone and Federico Mompou to John Petrucci and Frank Gamble. This stands him out as an exceptionally flexible guitarist, who thrives on melody. His excellent ear for music compliments his accomplishments as a player, who is technical when needed, yet tasteful; precise, yet plays from the heart. Dave is a very knowledgeable and professional musician.After a year touring with Frontiers, a Tribute to Journey, and a new project, Idiotsyncrasy, his most recent solo venture, and a relocation to West Palm Beach, FL… Dave is looking to tour once again.After finishing a stint with Alex Bach, Dave has finally found his "place" in South FL with the new original project Pipebomb Assembly!!!Along with this, Dave has also opened his own private studio named accordingly "Burn in Hell" studios, where he has produced, mixed and appeared on many of S.
