Aga Heller is part of the worldwide dance scene since nearly fifteen years. He started as a party promoter, worked for several clubs and owned some of them by himself. He used to work for several major record companies, he is the owner of a successful artist management agency since a lot of years and also of a respected record company in Germany. He worked for some radiostations for quite a long time, too. Should be enough, eh? But not enough for Aga Heller: He is also a well-known DJ and producer, together with his partner they are known as Heller & Enkie. Their famous mix album series Trance Nation gets regularly released in several countries and their own productions are in the box of Top-DJs, like Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Gadjo or Steve Lawler.
Aga Heller started as a usual dance fan, back in the days he discovered the young dance scene and enjoyed clubbing as thousands of other people. But soon he started to promote his own events in Germany, from small club parties to big open air happenings with 10,000 people. Later on he opened his first own club, just one year later he became part of the general management of a worldwide famous club. He had own shows at several radio stations in South Germany. In 1997 he founded his own artist agency, which still exists. Within the years he was the booking manager of DJs, like Roger Sanchez, Armand van Helden, Felix da Housecat or Mark Spoon. Today he is the exclusive worldwide manager of Bush II Bush, Gadjo, Andrew Bennett, Plastik Funk or Royal Two, for example. From 2001 to 2004 he used work for Warner Music Group Germany and edel music AG and developed several big artists and compilation products. Afterwards he started his own management agency and record company again. His most important label is Supra Recordings, of course, which is the special baby of Aga Heller. The tracks released on this label feature his own favourite sound between Trance and Progressive House. Most successful releases on this label were from Karen Overton, Nalin & Kane, Flash Brothers, but also from Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Perry O'Neil, Synergy (David West & Inkfish) or Harry Lemon.
Thats a lot, but still not all in the life of Aga Heller. He is also one part of the DJ and producer team Heller & Enkie, well-known for their famous mix album series "Trance Nation" - which is not the some people might know from U.K. from Ministry of Sound. It gets released regularly in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, but also in the U.S.A., Canada, Benelux, Poland, Russia and several other countries in Eastern Europe. They are high demanded remixers and worked for Nalin & Kane and Gadjo, for example. They call themselves Trance artists, but some people might say, this is not correct. Their own definition is a bit differerent to others. Aga Heller explains it like this: "Some people might call it "music influenced by Progressive House with a trancy feel", but we do not care. It's just the music we love! I do no care about any definitions! Call it Techno, House, Electro, Trance or just Electronic Dance Music! Or call it just the sound we love! :-)"
