Ludvig Holm is an 20 year old guy from Sweden, producing progressive trance under the alias Algarve. He lives in a small town called Lidköping in southwestern Sweden and he has been interested in music as long as he can remember.
He got his first tracking-program for PC at the early age of 5-6. His cousin, which was a good ft2 composer at that time, gave it to him on a floppy. He quickly learned the basics about the program and used Fast tracker 2 for a very long time (until about the early 2002).
He first met trance at the age of 14, when a friend of his showed him a cd called Clubbers Guide to Ibiza 2001. After that the journey started. He produced one of his first tunes called Seashore, which got signed to the label Inspired Records. From that point everything's just gone his way. He has been/are working with other artists such as Sebasitan Brandt (Selu Vibra) and Marcus Schössow (Sunglider vs. Algarve) and has started bringing top notch stuff in the late 2005/early 2006.
Now he's signed to quality trance labels such as Somatic Sense Recordings, Supra Recordings, Armada Music and has done remixes for many others.
