The Happiest Time of My Life…
Even as I type the title, my eyes well with tears. Each time I reminisce over photographs from India… my heart is overwhelmed with love and joy. I am sincerely happy where I am now… thankful for what I have, for what I have learned, for my wonderful family and friends that I deeply appreciate and cherish. Most of all… I am thankful for Jesus… my Everlasting Savior. He has shown me more grace and mercy over the past 3 years far beyond anything I could ever imagine… and it keeps increasing by day. However, my heart aches for the happiest time of my life… and the opportunities I was privileged to partake of. Opportunities to help others in need with my very own hands. Please pray for me at this time in my life. I am very excited, however trying to not set my hopes too high in case this doesn’t work out for me.
I have been overwhelmed by support from my loved ones and am very thankful for that. I have discovered it is at times like these when we discover who our true cheerleaders are. I feel this adoption will be an extension of my desire to care for and love the orphans of India.
The lastest chapter in my adoption decision has been to put making formal steps on hold. I am definitely (God willing) moving forward; however, after receiving much counsel, have decided to allow my life to become more settled before I start the process completely. At this time, I am taking steps towards making informative and financial preparations. In His time...
