Ruben R3K Rivera is a Producer/DJ from NYC that has always been around music. Coming from a family with huge musical history, R3K has been producing and DJing since 1990. From 2000 - 2004 Ruben DJed at NYC Bar and hot spot Bar 515. Playing mostly Hip Hop/R&B/Classics, his crowd would leave other clubs/bars just to hear him play. From House to Hip Hop to classics to original remixes and edits, he has always been able to control a crowd with his style of mixing, selection, and personality.2005 - 2008 He did sound at NYC underground club LOVE where he had the pleasure of working with many DJ's, producers, artists, promoters, MC's, Rock stars, like DJ Harvey, Q-Tip, Mark Ronson, Sasha, ?est Love, D Nice, Rob Gee, Craig Richards, Billy Carrol, Three, Aaron Lacrate, Sneak, DJ Premiere, Kid Capri, Francios K, Rakim, DB, Lilly Allen, Greenskeepers, Ralph Falcon, Joe Nice, 1200 Warriors, Silver, Little louie Vega, Joe claussell, Thrillseekers, and Mr. Jams to name a few. Occasionally blessing the decks, people would always ask "who was the DJ that was ..?..."Jan. 2007, R3K's long awaited first EP "TRIBAL LOVE" was released on Slanted Black Records with the thanks to cRAIG mITCHELL....................................................
