Marica Bryant is a true personification of John 4:23 which states, “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth. For the Father seeketh such to worship him†– for that is what she has been called to do.She was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and her intimate relationship with the Lord and subsequently, praise and worship, began when she started singing at the age of two, while a member of Big Miller Grove Baptist Church, where she was reared in the fear and admonition of the Lord until the age of 20. At this point in her life, she had developed such a hunger for God and a heart for true worship and ultimately accepted the call of a psalmist. By the leading of the Holy Spirit, she then went on to become a member of Greater Anointed Tabernacle, where God began to truly craft her gifting. Through the anointing of God, Marica was able to usher the people into the true, raw presence of God, causing atmospheric changes.The gospel of Jesus Christ through music is something that she lives and breathes. Many pioneers of gospel have served as great influences on her, including her grandparents – Willie & Josephine Wilder, Kim Burrell, Beverly Crawford, Judy McAllister, Kurt Carr, David Walker, Maurice Culpepper, Contrell Jones and Sha’ Simpson, just to name a few. She also has been favored to have done background vocals for such gospel artists as: Timothy Wright, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Karen Clark-Sheard, Pastor Hezekiah Walker, Dottie Peoples, Lucretia Campbell, Byron Cage, Kelly Price, Praise Power and Fellowship & many others. She presently is a member of Atlanta gospel artists’ David Walker & High Praise, where she sings for the glory of God! They were recently blessed to release their debut project, “So Longâ€.She is the proud mother of a beautiful daughter, Destiny, and presently a member of the Rhema Christian Fellowship Church under the dynamic shepherding of Dr. Stephen B. Hall and Co-Pastor Vaness Hall, where she faithfully serves as an integral part of ministry in many capacities – as praise & worship leader, a leader in the youth department, missionary/evangelist, She states, “My assignment is to help the saints of God to move to another dimension in worshipâ€, and her life proves that this has been her God-given drive, “being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ†– Phil. 1:6.
