What's up MySpace! Well, I'm a Gen-X'r trying to obtain the "American Dream" without the use of hoop skills, running at extraordinary speed, catching or throwing a ball or "laying dope lyrics". I recently completed my MA in Psychology, and I'm starting the pursuit of a PharmD & possibly an MBA (like I said before - I can't rap, run, catch or dribble worth a damn so I got to use my brain)!Along the way I'm hoping to instill some sense, provide guidance, share some love and an occasional whoopin' to my 4 (going on 21) year old son aka "Mini-me".

My Interests

There's not enough space to list my interests right now, but I want to experience as much as possible. I enjoy alot of activities including exercising, reading, and video games (ahhh...the male cliche!) but there's more to me including my interest in plays, musicals (every person needs some culture) and just learning about obscure things and sharing that information with other. I have to admit that I'm a competitive (and obsessive) person so don't get me started in anything because if I can't win I'm going to keep at until I do! I've started traveling more including various cities in N. America and I recently traveled to S. America and visited the ruins, and S. Africa where I rode in a safari. An '07 trip to China & Europe are in the works! I'm also looking to try sky-diving.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet people who are about doing things positive and enjoying life."Oh! I'd also like to meet....Angela Bassett!!!"

Music:

I'm a fan of every genre of music....even country (go figure!)

Movies:

I like the classic flicks as well as the new stuff (that don't involve remakes of classic flicks)! I think the funniest movie I've seen in a while has to be "Harold & Kumar Goes to White Castle". There's just something about Doogie Howser MD, looking for some trim that cracks me up!

Television:

"24", "Scrubs", "Lost" and "The Amazing Race" (man...I want to get on that show!). I'm also digging "Justice League Unlimited" & "Avatar"(yes...I still watch cartoons - And if you've ever seen the shows you can't tell me that you're not following the storylines!)

Books:

Besides textbooks, my current reads are newspapers and some magazines. However, I do have an "extensive" library collection that includes the classics: "Green Eggs and Ham", "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "Oh, The places you'll Go!" Stories expounding on the whimsical adventures of "Dora the Explorer" and "Thomas the Tank Engine" are also favorite literary pieces in my household!
