About Me

Blackwood Ave. was formed in 1994. They recorded 3 full length cd's, toured the country, blowing the roofs of many a club for the next ten years. As with many bands, peoples lives and directions changed, and the decision was made to put the whole thing on hold to allow the members a little time to find themselves, thier families, and the things that were left behind. This space was put together so friends and fans alike could still "run down to the avenue". All of the band members are still writing, recording, and making beautiful music. We all remain the best of friends, and still get together every blue moon to play a show or two. So dont count us out, NOTHING is over!!!!****To all of our friends who supported us over the years**** You guys made it possible for us to live out our dreams. The support you have given us over the years was absolutley incredible. Seeing you sing our every lyric at shows, wearing our shirts, plastering our logos on your cars, sending 30 shots of tequilla to the stage, all of it.
