Seeking to revenge their wasted youth. These elder statesmen decided to form STOUTPOUNDER 1997. Brewed from their altered minds, they set out to capture the pure feeling of rock & roll. Plundering from all the riffs of the bands that influenced them on the way up in life, along with the occasional twisted original idea, these brigands have put together something that doesn’t sound quite like any band you’ve heard. With Andy Lane on lead vocals and bass, Rick Boynton on guitar and vox from the get-go, along with drummer Jimmy Jamz, STOUTPOUNDER strives for nothing more or less than excellence in rock. We don’t care if you think we’re “cool” or whatever, we rock the bells. Ignoring boundaries, eating sacred cows raw and crushing sensitive toes is all part of a normal STOUTPOUNDER day.Like the mighty Spinal Tap, Stoutpounder has had a long line of drummers pounding the skins for the past ten years.
