ASSES OF EVIL

Chris aka JJ Jet Jaguar unimpressed with the heaviness of his garage band The Ointment in late 2005 was looking for larger and louder amplifiers to unleash a sonic boom on Phoenix. JJ enlisted the help of Tana Satana guitarist for Punk band NunZilla to play bass for this loud band. They then needed to find a drummer that could keep up with the loud amps and unprecedented amount of alcohol being consumed. They found what they needed in two words Bam Bam, the founding drummer for Punk Legends Jody Foster’s Army. (JFA). JJ, Bam (now known as The Denim Machine), and Tana hit it off quick, with one rehearsal under their belt, and the Name TRES REYES stolen from a bottle of cheap tequila, played their first show on Halloween night 2005 in the art district of Phoenix. The band then began auditioning lead guitarists, having trouble finding anyone with the guts to put up with these players, they looked to Bam’s long time friend and ex band member Tony “ TK” Karaba, of Rabid Rabbit fame. With the final piece in place they took the name ASSES OF EVIL from a bumper sticker from a hippies car and used the term literally to describe the band. A.O.E. has been playing ever since in the Phoenix area making most Punk and Rock acts want to go home to their mommies. The ASSES OF EVIL debut album is set to be released in January 2008 with a US tour following the same year.
