I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

The attitude I have always embraced and endeavored to cultivate is a desire to grow, learn and become more fully human. When there is no growth or openess to change, well, that's a pretty boring place. Between my job and my other job (house, yard, vehicles) I find plenty of stuff to keep me occupied for hours.I follow, and am really into, the Raw Vegan diet/lifestyle. It's not just about what you eat. It's also about what "foods" you avoid, occasional fasting, juicing, sleep, exercise, our planet, the universe. I am grateful for spiritual/personal growth however it may manifest, the good as well as, what we classify as, the bad. I want to stop pushing against the world and embrace it all, as the warm blissful waves of Nirvana envelop me. It would be nice to make new friends who appreciate the concept of spiritual/personal growth.I like to make incredible meals and share them. I'm living in a fixxer upper home. It's gorgeous, but I have a lot to do on the old place. I haven't played my guitar in weeks, uggh. There is so much I want to do. I have a few motorcycles. I'm not a fan of Harleys or their clones. I can appreciate them on a certain level, just not my cup of tea though. Getting out in nature is fun. I've gone camping once so far this year. I'll probably so more if I go to any of the Motorcycle Rallies in the coming months. I like to travel. I enjoy making and sharing meals, massage, film and many other things. My Zen practice has been an incredibly calming influence in my life. Sitting silently, watching your breath, embracing each moment as it occurs, letting go of thought, this is one of the best tools you'll find for coping with this deluded world and deconditing yourself. Riding a motorcycle for long periods of time is also good. Taking care of your body--good. I strive to be true to myself, the people in my life and the universe. As a socialist, I believe in the power and goodness of Human Beings to organize a new society without hierarchy, one that places the needs of the earth and it's inhabitants above that of Corporate greed, profit and power. The drastic problems we face in this age can not be solved within the context of Capitalism.
