The Pariah studio was set up in 1997 after much saving and hard work. They spent the next 12 months getting to know their equipment, enabling them to carve their own sound. The next thing Pariah did was to expand further and start sending out their music. Their first break came when they won a demo competition in 'Muzik' magazine which led to them getting noticed. They were approached by several people, firstly and most importantly Tricksta from the then very reputable imprint 'Urban Flavour', signed up two tracks called 'Reprogram' and 'Aqueous'. This being Pariah's first 12" release became an underground anthem being played all around the globe by people like Blame, Doc Scott, Fabio, Dr S Gachet, Dj Lee and many more. From here Pariah went on to releasing many tracks on some of the scene's top labels. Their next release came courtesy of Terry Wilsons Funk 21 label in conjunction with Partisan Records. They had two tracks on the Funk 21 Album, they were also asked to do the mix cd as well. From there Pariah went on to build a quality catalogue of releases. One relationship that the lads are most proud of is that of label boss and Dj, Blame. Pariah have had many tracks released on 720 degrees including three tracks on the mighty 'Two Revolutions' compilation album. From there, they continued their journey through drum n bass land and found themselves working with the master himself LTJ Bukem. After having a break from the scene due to unforseen problems, they are back and ready to spread their sound far and wide!
