Beats For Infinity

About Me

Was up people? I was named Professor M by an old DJ/ producer friend Ackshun Jackson about 8 years ago. I love music. Since my father has been playing trumpet for more than 40 years, my intro to music was jazz. This would probably explain why I love the sound I do. I started collecting tapes when I was in 3rd grade. When I got my CD/tapedeck stereo, I started up my CD collection.
In 99' I got my Technic 1200's and started to DJ and build my vinyl library. I started with hip-hop spinning at the illest hip-hop nite in D.C. (Kaffa House). My life revolved around trying to accumulate the records that got me into hip-hop and tracks I was feelin at the time. When I stopped hearing hip-hop I liked in my local record stores, I started to collect Drum N Bass. I spun at a few big partys and small events. When local record stores stopped carrying DNB I liked and went out of buisness, I decided to start trying to make my own material.
I've been producing for about 4.5 Years. First, I worked on A Yamaha Motif 6. After that I learned Reason 2.0. Finally, I learned the in's and out's of the MPC 2000XL from The 16 Bit Czar and that's what I've been working with(along with other analog gear) for the past 2.5 years.
I helped start the Maryland Gryme Officials(now Sediment Enterprises) and I'm an artist in the Rockvillianz Media Group.I made this page(thanks to Lauren) to post up tracks that collect dust on my Zip Disks.I make new beats all the time. A lot of them are unfinished but,I feel they're worth listening to.
You will be hearing solo works of mine, aswell as remixes of my associates material along with Sediment Enterprises Exclusives and Collaborations. I hope you feel these joints, because they are from the heart. If you like them please let me know. I will update this page often and am eager to link with other like-minded producers/musicians. I'm all about keeping soulful music alive. As of now you will be hearing hip-hop insturmentals. Consider this an extention of the Sediment Enterprises Squadron. This is how I (we) do and I hope you feel it. Stay tuned.....
