About Me

"DREI AUFSäTZE üBER DEN INNEREN KONFLIKT"CLICK ON COVERS TO ORDER- "POST-TRAUMATISMES". 10" black vinyl400Copies Limited EditionAthanor/LaGrandeIllusion2003Artwork by WiligutThe first release both for the newborn french label, La Grande Illusion, and a young french musician, who made this record as a concept centred around the "traumatisms" due to the first world war. A cinematic soundtrack in two parts: Strong martial elements with some atmospheric passages with organ and orchestral parts of supreme beauty with old song and films samples and a touch of heavy electronics. As a comparison, the sound evolves in a style between early Der Blutharsch recording (the first LP), some analog Les Joyaux de la Princesse or Steinklang sounds. Once again, the same old description but this time it doesn't sound like another pale copy. A very promising first strike.Read the great review of Nathalie F: "With this first release, Les Sentiers Conflictuels already joins the ranks of the most talented French industrial activists..."Heimdallr reviewJudas Kiss Magazine: "It’s difficult to believe that this is actually a debut release of LSC, however it would appear that with an initial output as remarkable as this he is destined for great things"Judas Kiss review- "VARIATIONS POST-TRAUMATIQUES". 7" black vinyl222HandnumberedCopies Limited EditionAthanor/LaGrandeIllusion2004Artwork by Wiligut"The follow up to the acclaimed 10" released of this enigmatic french project. Deals like the first part with the first world war diseases. Very powerful."- "Sir A. KING & LSC: 1888" CD Limited Edition3 pannel Deluxe DigipackAthanor2006 Artwork by Skyhigh MediaAndrew King reads the mysterious letters that Scotland Yards have received in late 1888 and signed "Jack the Ripper" on a disturbing neoclassical soundtrack with some cold foggy drones and sounds of archive (mechanical noises, operettes and old cylinders samples). A dark journey into the wet sinuous streets of Whitechapel, London 1888...Read the great review of Mark Coyle:"An album that explores a time and acts that are in their own way part of our heritage, myths and social history [...] Like the blackest horror film you have ever been placed within. There genuinely has not been an album like this before"Harvest Home reviewThe Sentinels Of Times: "une ténébreuse expérience [...] une masse de brouillard qui nous enveloppe et nous glace les sangs!"The Sentinels reviewAlternativmusik.de: die rezensionJudas Kiss Magazine: "Narrated perfectly by Andrew King [...] 1888 is an accomplished CD and one that achieves exactly what it set out to by capturing the time and feeling of the Ripper’s world with a modern twist and decadent charm"Judas Kiss reviewTerrorverlag: "Aber mit dem Hörspielcharakter dieser Veröffentlichung haben LES SENTIERS CONFLICTUELS und ANDREW KING vielmehr ein neues Genre geschaffen"Terrorverlag reviewEvening Of Light: "If you've got a weak spot for cinematic soundscapes, the romantic side of the Jack the Ripper story, or both, this is a must have"Evening of Lights reviewCompulsion: "1888 is so richly evocative it acts as a portal to the late 19th century"Compulsiononline reviewIn_tensioN: "Au final, on se demande si le plus malsain réside dans le thème exploité ou dans la facilité avec laquelle on succombe au charme insidieux de l’interprétation"In_tensioN reviewHeathen Harvest: "That's something not a lot of albums have done to me, so that must mean it's a really good album, by my standards"Heathen Harvest reviewGothtronic: "1888 is a psychedelic listening experience that goes further than a mere soundtrack and to which Andrew King delivers text and voice [...] A very special work of art!"Gothtronic reviewCulture-Sex: "Vraiment très bon, une sorte de relève inespérée d'un genre qui s'épuise en France..."anecdoteAnother LSC in progress...
