The Indie Comics Revolution Has Begun!

About Me

I got this hot layout at LayoutLemon.com My name is Chris and I'm an alcoholic...not really, nobody likes meetings. Seriously, what we do is simple yet daunting...in order that we independent comic book creators might have a stronger voice in the industry, we have formed a place for independents and small pressers to exchange ideas and join forces to make a collective move on the status quo. We do this through the organization of cross promotional initiatives, getting the word out about our partner studios' respective projects, and offering competitive print services for those who are interested. (no need to be a member to utilize the printing service...) Here is what we are looking to accomplish in a nutshell------We want creators of independent comics and other small press mediums to come together as a solid group to promote not only their own projects but the independent comics movement as a whole. We want to unite independent creators under a common banner to aid in printing, distribution, and marketing of the artform we all care so passionately about. We want to work closely with other people who have realized that the time has come for independent creators to unify and show the world what we've got.We want our website to be an avenue for new creators to get advice from guys who've been around the block a time or two to help ease their transition into the industry. We want to conceive a plan to distribute books without being forced to shell out 40% of your profit after printing out of your own pocket...there must be an alternative! We want to meet other creators who are interested in the same goals that we are...we have a good core group, but the more the merrier! We have high hopes for this project and sincerely hope that you'll join us. Together we can make history and fill the void that the comic book industry has been harboring for far too long. See you in the trenches...Updated: same great minds, same mission, different website... www.highburn.com........

My Interests

We are interested in all things related to funny books and super heroes...after all we create them at our parent company, Highburn Studios We are interested in saving the comic book world one deserving yet underestimated title at a time...we are interested in sushi, swords, zombies, monkeys, midgets, movies, killers, food, music, mixed martial arts, all things creative, thinking outside of the box, setting said box on fire, dancing around the aforementioned box in post destructive glee, beer, power tools, muses, werewolves, stories, all things obscene but most of all...you. Who loves ya baby?..you know that's right.....
