As a student of the game Nominee took up playing the guitar and piano finding influences in Jimi Hendrix and Beethoven. As a beatsmith Nominee has found inspiration in the works of: The RZA, Alchemist, Pete Rock, Just Blaze, Kanye West, Swiss Beats, Rastis Papps
