I have been in this business of music and live entertainment for many years now, so I like and admire all forms of music. My newest venture is the amazing young heavy metal band our of Coweta, Oklahoma called CROOKED X. These guys are the new face of metal and rock in gedneral. I have entered the boys into a complete Multi Media Production deal with my partners Spencer Proffer and Doc Mcghee of many bands fame. sNake Sabo (Skid Row) will be the main usic driving developement and producing side of their music and it's developement. These kids are the real deal folks. They will be running in CBS's The Early Show - Living Room LIVE - Kids Edition starts on March 5th - March 9th, 2007. The winner of this week's competetion will take the band to New York and perform Live on the Early Show in March (date TBA) the band must win 1st, so Vote and they will. Plus my other venture is a very special and spiritual one which has come to fruition, and is now known as "Praise Fest 2006". The festival as hosted at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on July 21 & July 22nd of this year and I am truely blessed. The event will brought the bringing together of some of the greatest contemporary christian artist on the earth today. We feel like we put together one of the best line - ups to attend in the Mid-West part of America. Praise Fest 2006 hosted Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, Third Day, David Crowder Band, Natalie Grant, Jars Of Clay, Mary Mary, Bldg 429, Amanda Earhart and many other special guest., and praise and worship teams. Bring the whole family! THis has now turned into HELIUM "GIVE YOUR LIFE A LIFT" special event to be held in the last quarter of this year in HOuston, Texas. It will then got to the NCM Theater Chains, and then to an InDEmand, Television show, CD and DVD releases, along with a very cool merchandise line. My special buddies in this life time to date has been the Lynyrd Skynyrd guys and girls. Tommy Shaw, one of rock's legends, a great and inspiring songwriter and inspiring in general. Mick Box of Uriah Heep and Trevor Bolder whom I truely miss, you might know him from David Bowies original band (Spiders From Marrs) as well as Wishbone Ash and Uriah Heep. My buddy and brother in pulling my live events off Dennis Stone for our entire lives now. He also has the boys STARKZ on track and they could really go. Big Dave keep in doing what you do best, and the learning gets higher. Cory keep on bringin it on, George keep Austin music growing outside of Austin, and Jack keep doing the same because, it is getting better all the time. Rick for keeping the buses, hotels and crew in line for the guys and gals on the road. This is a great year for FMAP, Inc. and the ECHO GROUP of Arkansas - New York & Texas. Ken Gold my goomba out of New York and Hai Schaeffer out of Dallas are making big things happen with me on an Intercontinental way. Look for big things from The ECHO GROUP organization. The Silvertide boys helping them anywhere I can, and keeping the tradition of good ole Southern styled management alive and kickin, and the music that goes with it. The rest of you guys either know, or know of me. To all my current, and future clients, thank you for your continued support. Heres to the years to come! Good bye to a man that I very much liked up til his passing to God and that is Mr Merle Kilgore. I really learned allot from him, thanks. I am sure that you are with Hank Sr and Lefty in the heavens above, it must be one heck of a jam, and, or, a great negotiation!
