scene is ready to explode at the seams! We would like to cordially invite you to the first of what we hope to be many, "NWA Musicians Mingle And Trade Show". To be in a band or doing a solo act, as we all know too well, we start down a path that is never paved and offers entirely to many walls to count, so the questions are many..... How do I get started? What equipment do I need? Where do I go to find other musicians? Where do I go to record a Demo? What venues are here and who does the booking? For Northwest Arkansas the time has never been more perfect for this event. It is our hope to get as many of us in and around the music industry together for one day of networking, and building new friendships and contacts. With the inception of the worldwide web, opportunities for local Artists have become infinite. There no longer has to be a hurry up and wait mentallity that suffocates Artistic integrity. Just a desire to learn the ins and outs, the tricks and the traps. Let's come together as a unit and help nurture what could become a well known music scene by all! When: May 20,2007 11:00-TBA Where: Hit Record's(Off Gregg Street)Fayetteville, Arkansas Vendor cost:$100.00 Per Table,space,etc.Electricity will be available for an additional $25.00
There will be 10-12 local original bands performing, Times and Bands TBA, Half Scorpio & Pat Pathoumthong will be Headlining the Event. If you are a local band or solo Act, you can e-mail me if you would like to be considered for the event. *Note that if you are not selected to play, this event is important still. We are trying to book all Genres for the show,Rock,Metal,Rap,Country,Techno,etc. We only have 10-12 slot's available. If you are not selected to play, come and network anyway, as you know the right contact's are priceless! I am working very hard on getting as many A&R people and promoter's as I can for this show. Please spread the word! This is an outside event. We welcome all music lover's! There will be a small admission fee, for a BIG day in Music! br /

The Picture the girl in the hat, that's me, Shanea Holmbeck, owner of Mandrach Management,LLc. The sexy blonde sitting next to me is my personnal assistant, Arien Zick. I manage the band Half Scorpio. We will be scouting new Artist's to represent in the next year. Hit Record's, located in off of Gregg Street in Faytteville, Arkansas. Marsha Beard purchased the old (Farmer's Daughter Resturant) a few years ago. The Resturant was a 3 story Victorian home, which is now be remodled into a Band's "Bed & Breakfast", so to speak. There will be a game room on the 3rd story, below that several comfy rooms with your own private bathroom. Below that, fire place and full bar, along with so much more. If that's not enough, for fresh air you can go put yourself in the hammock under the tree, on 3 acres of beautiful farmland. Very private, however conviently located in the heart of Fayetteville. Whether you need to record a 2 song demo, or come from out of town to record an album, Hit Record's is going to be The "5 Star" recording studio/getaway. Hit record's can design a package deal for whatever your needs are, down to the press kit!
