THE IMPERFECTS

The Imperfects consist of Grotesk the subhuman (J. Hurley) and DJ Ando. Together with some of Fayetteville’s finest acts we try to bring a live and thought provoking show. Some of the material is politically explicit, but in these times when we find those in power betraying our trust sometimes the best way to reach people is through music. We felt it necessary to create an album that didn’t blend into the landscape. There are a hundred copies, clones of an industry standard. Those who have hijacked hip-hop are warping its definition. Only social vampires really give a shit about cash, clubs, and rims. We strive to bring the listener something different. It’s flawed and sometimes it’s ugly. This is The Imperfects.
