Hookerz & V-Gaz both came from different backgrounds.
V-Gaz was already checking out other kinds of music like; Techno, House, Breakbeats, and so on,
and slowly got into drum n bass also, especially buying and playing the harder stuff by then.
At that time Hookerz was more into the Softer, smoother kindof drum n bass, playing sets with big summervibes. Shortly after they got in touch with eachother they both got to know the deeper end of drum & bass,
from the softer side to the harder part. So it was only a logical result for them that they teamed up, they played out everything as long as it contained deep big basslines and quality controlled beats.
From then on things went pretty fast for them,
being invited at famous places like:
Vooruit, Decadance, Culture Club, Petrol, Effenaar (NL), ...
They also formed Chinatown kru together with Ebbman and V-Gaz got asked to join the STEAM-team, which he's still hosting nowadays alongside MC's Mush & RX.
